RYT - 200 HR

Bio:

Mallory has been practicing yoga for seven years. Mallory was introduced to yoga her junior year of high school as she struggled with severe depression and anxiety rooting from body image issues. Her dear friend is a Holy Yoga instructor and sacrificially taught Mallory Restorative styled classes once a week for free for an entire year. For Mallory, coming into a sacred space that was Christ-centered allowed surrender and freedom from the darkness she carried. Mallory found healing, self love, spiritual growth, and a habit of honoring the body she contained. She also experienced self discovery and a beautiful act of worship to her Creator. Coming out of her mental illness stronger than ever, Mallory discovered passion- passion to be in the presence of the The Lord and to help others who experienced depression and anxiety similar to hers. Mallory found the calling on her life during her journey with Holy Yoga.

She is a 200 -hour  Registered Yoga Teacher under Emily Darling and Christy Burnette from Darling Yoga in Overland Park, KS.

Class Description:

Mallory loves to carry a gentle spirit everywhere she goes. Her primary focus is teaching Restorative Holy Yoga to encourage students to experience release, freedom, openness, peace, and stillness to the body, mind, and spirit within. Mallory strives to lead people into a time of one-on-one intimacy with God. Mallory’s Holy Yoga classes are perfect for beginners as they incorporate gentle components for a simple and relaxing class.

Mallory also loves to teach Mixed-Level Vinyasa flow. This type of yoga class is great for all students. In Mallory's Mixed-level vinyasa flow classes she likes to add fluid movement for her students practice as well as incorporating breath control, balance +  mobility, strength + flexibility improvement, and mindful meditation.
