- Kelie Morgan
Always athletic, Kelie was active in sports when she was younger, but didn’t discover group fitness until after she had her second baby and needed to get 60 pounds of pregnancy off. She started attending BodyStep and was instantly hooked. “The endorphins and the adrenaline were real and so were the results!” Less than year later, she went to her first training. That was in 2008 and she’s been teaching multiple classes every week since. Currently, Kelie teaches Yoga, BodyStep, and TRX/Kettle Circuit and coaches CrossFit.
At first, becoming an instructor was about the challenge of doing something far outside of her comfort zone. But once she started, it became more about her members. “I realized that I could help them and lift them, even if it was just for one hour a day. It was clear to me then, that this was not just a hobby or a fun pastime for me, it was my passion.”
Kelie wants her participants to know that she has been where they have been.; she’s been overweight and out of shape, she’s been injured, overworked and overstressed. She knows the reasons that stop them from taking that first scary step into the group fitness studio. But she promises, “I will be there to welcome you, introduce you to a friend and above all else, give you a great workout!”
