I began my yoga journey in 2009 and became a certified instructor through LifePower Yoga in 2014, where I completed my 200 hour training. In 2021 I finished my 300 hour training with LifePower Yoga and am a Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT-500) with Yoga Alliance. I have a Masters of Education degree in Elementary Education, and use mindfulness, meditation, and yoga in the classroom.

I have lived overseas working as a yoga instructor and an elementary school teacher for 6 years, and now reside in Flagstaff, AZ sharing my experience and knowledge with adults and children. Most influenced by my past challenges of anxiety and depression; I aim in promoting peace, gratitude and self-love within each of my students.

Styles of Yoga I Teach:

Vinyasa- The connection of poses in a swift flowing sequence allowing breath and movement to synchronize.

Ashtanga- Synchronizing the breath with a set sequence of individual poses that are linked to flowing movements.

Hatha- Practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching.

Yin- Stretching connective tissue to release trauma in the body, improve posture, improve joint mobility, and to increase strength and flexibility.  Postures are typically held for 3-5 minutes each.

Restorative- A meditative practice that works to release deep tension passively.  Props are used to support the body and poses are held for 5-10 minutes.

Nidra- A restorative practice that lulls you into a state of semi-consciousness. Through intention setting, body scans, visualizations, and breath awareness, you’re transferred to another world that is calm, soothing, and peaceful.

Guided Meditation- Working with the breath and mind, using a combination of music and verbal instruction.

Yoga for Kids- Finding playful shapes in the body that are connected to animals and nature while exploring the breath.
