Christine Sanders

Christine has been working in the fitness industry for over 15 years and is well versed in several different areas including personal training, athletic training, small group training, yoga as well as group fitness. Christine holds a Masters Degree from Columbia University in Applied Physiology and holds numerous training certifications as well. She is a certified personal trainer through The International Sports Medicine Association, a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance, a certified children yoga instructor through Radiant Child Yoga, a certified barre Instructor through Barre Above and pre and post-natal trained through Equinox. Additionally, while attending graduate school, Christine completed an internship in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Combining her education, certifications and trainings, Christine has had great success with a wide variety of populations including athletes, individuals with chronic as well as progressive diseases (ie Parkinson's), the elderly, the injured as well as post-rehabilitive individuals. Additionally, she has helped many clients to successfully achieve and maintain their weight loss goals. Christine has also taught yoga to various high school sports teams. 
 
A former competitive equestrian and downhill skier, athletics and fitness have always been a way of life for Christine. Christine is very passionate about the outdoors and maintains a very active lifestyle. She enjoys paddle boarding and kayaking and in the summertime she teaches paddle board yoga and leads stand up paddle board tours. Christine lives in North Chatham and has two teenagers, a son and daughter, who have both inherited her love of athletics, especially skiing and snowboarding. She can often be found paddling around Pleasant Bay with her children. Another one of Christine’s passions is photography which she has referred to as, “soul food”.
 
Christine finds the experience of watching her clients grow, heal and transform to be wholly rewarding. Her teaching/training style has been described as passionate, creative, challenging, intuitive as well as fun.  She excels at keeping her clients motivated and engaged, her students never complain of boredom!
