Shir’s yoga practice began in 2015 as a way to self heal a back injury that left her unable to walk for over a year, after consistent practice Shir has made a full recovery and has fell in love with yoga. Soon after she felt passionate in sharing the healing gift of yoga with those all around her. Shir quickly completed her first 200 hour yoga teacher training. Soon after, eager to learn more about the practice, she completed multiple additional trainings all around the world giving her over 500+ hours in advanced yoga training and over 1500+ hours of teaching experience. She is a certified personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM.) And a certified Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Shir also has completed the plant-based nutrition program by Cornell University. When she is not at the yoga studio, you can find her in the kitchen cooking as a professional chef and baker. She graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York and completed 650+ hours of intensive culinary training and 316+ hours of intensive training in the school of Culinary Management. With a passion of health, fitness and cooking, Shir realized the strong connection between the mind, body and the effect the food we eat has on our physical and mental health. Her goal is to enhance energy, strength and beauty in people's body and mind. Every day brings new choices, sometimes the smallest decision of attending a yoga class can change your life forever - it did for Shir!
