Justin Geijer

My name is Justin Geijer, and I’m originally from Carpentersville, IL (a Chicago suburb), where I developed my love of sport and exercise. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Preventive and Rehabilitative Exercise Science at Northern Illinois University. It was during this time (2005) that I began my personal training journey. I liked NIU so much that I decided to stick around and earn my Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology while working as a personal trainer, sports performance coach and private baseball instructor. I moved to Minneapolis in 2009 to begin my Ph.D. program in Exercise Physiology at the University of Minnesota. I fell in love with the state and began a teaching career at Winona State University in 2013. Throughout my educational career, I have continued to work as a personal trainer, teaching one-on-one sessions, small group training, and larger studio classes. I love building relationships and helping people reach their goals and maintain healthy lives.
