Carol Hewitt

My name is Carol Hewitt, I am 40 years old, or young depending on which day of the week it is. Although fitness has been my passion for most of my 40 years, my greatest achievments are my 9yr old daughter, my 5 year old son and my 14 year marrige to my best friend. If fitness is what you want to hear about, then here it goes. I have been an instructor for 18 years. I started teaching at our local YWCA,this was when Hi intensity first came on the scene and I was the first to teach this format as well as Step and Sculpt classes. After the YWCA, I taught at a ladies only facility where I taught a wide variety of classes such as Hi, Lo or Hi-Lo combination, sculpt, step, and interval classes. Eleven years ago I started working for the West Forsyth Family YMCA. I am YMCA certified and have been AFAA certified for 7 years. I helped bring Reebok Cycle, Core, Ramp Mat Science and Flexible strength classes. When I am not teaching I enjoy long runs, tennis and spend time with my family.
