Together, we explore areas that get to the core of why you fall back into the same patterns & habits that do not benefit your overall health and wellness. During my childhood, I watched, helpless, as my father battled diabetes. During the same time, I constantly heard the message from family members and friends, "you're bigger than your mother". My internalization of that statement contributed to low self-esteem and poor body image. I also knew that if I did not change my eating habits, & being an overweight young woman, I would end up battling diabetes, like my father & his family. One day, as I looked in the mirror, I became angry at who was looking back at me and said "THAT'S ENOUGH!". That is when I joined a gym and discovered the benefits of being active & healthy nutrition.
