I can't remember exactly why I walked into my first yoga studio, but I am grateful that I did. It started me on a path toward a life-long friendship with yoga.
Through yoga, I've realized that your life can change slowly, in small increments which may not seem like much individually but are amazing when seen together. You wake up one morning and your shoulder opens just a little more than before...tell a friend and they will be happy for you...tell your yoga friends and they will nod their heads knowingly and smile genuinely for you. These are the moments we do yoga for.
I believe that yoga should be fun, uplifting and challenging for your mind and body. You will find that my classes balance creativity and technical details so you can choose which yoga to take home with you because I believe that our practice is an extension of our desire to improve our life, and what we do on our mat should echo what we want to do outside the room.
