I was born into a large family and I learned to appreciate diversity early on in life. Over the years, I developed a passion for discovering how different nationalities and cultures celebrated life and the arts. I was exposed to music and dance at a very early young age. I grew up dancing in many performance arts organizations well into my adult years. This life experience eventually led me to become a Zumba Instructor. I received my licensed as a Zumba Instructor in 2014. Soon after receiving my license, I began to teach in a gym with a nice size following to this day. I also volunteered my services as a Zumba Instructor at a cancer support center for a year. I teach Zumba to share the love for dance and music while getting a cardio workout. My portfolio includes many rhythms and styles such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, both Latin & English Pop & Rock, R&B, 80’s, Oldies, Afrobeat, Bollywood, Samba, Flamenco, and more. Lastly, I founded a group in Dallas, Texas, called Zumba League; it is derived from the DC comics Justice League. While performing and leading Zumba routines, this group dresses in Superheroes and Supervillains attire to bring additional fun and joy to the many events Zumba League was invited; mostly for charity and benefit events.
