My name is Chelsey. I have been practicing yoga for seven years. My yoga journey began with engaging teachers that inspired me to come back to my mat every week. They taught me about the foundations of yoga and asanas, while providing me with many tools for self-discovery and growth. Today, I practice yoga as a way to balance and restore the connection between my body, mind and soul.
I have completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training program with the Yoga and Ayurveda Centre. This program fueled my passion for mindfulness, breath work and meditation. I have also received a certificate in the fundamentals of mindfulness from the Mindfulness in Modern Society program at McMaster University.
In my classes you will often find mindfulness interwoven in with asanas. I love to inspire self reflection and connection. I seek to help others heal, gain confidence and intuitively move their bodies. My hope is that when you come off the mat you feel nurtured, calm and connected.
