Cindy has been a fitness enthusiast her adult life. She contributes fitness with healthy eating and lifestyle to her ability to stay very fit and active even as she approaches 60. She is extremely disciplined, driven and has an eye for detail. These life skills she developed while pursuing her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Florida in 1988.  Cindy has been a cross trainer and competitive tennis  player for over three decades. As the mother of five active and sports oriented boys, she quickly learned the importance of balancing physical fitness with a healthy fuel based diet. When she moved to Atlanta in 2007, Cindy became a strength trainer and later a personal trainer. Cindy specializes in women’s strength training, especially older adults.  She prides herself on her attention to form and detail to provide the maximum results and safest experience possible for her clients.  She also understands the importance of a diet based upon clean eating and balanced macronutrients to assist her clients in achieving their fitness goals.  In 2019, once Covid-19 became prevalent, Cindy realized a more gentler form of wellness and mindfulness was what she required to age with grace. She began to practice yoga and received two yoga certifications and is currently working on a third. Cindy practices yoga, meditation and mindfulness daily. She enjoys teaching yoga and helping her students to develop in their practices.
