I'm a filmmaker who lives in Toronto, Canada. I've been a fitness enthusiast my whole life, but it's only within the last few years that my passion for it has grown into a vocation. Fundamentally, good health relies on 3 important pillars. Diet, Exercise and Sleep. Exercise can mean many things to many people. For me, it's about training the body as a complete system. Strength, Endurance (cardio), Flexibility and Mobility, all play their part in physical health. When teaching a group based class, I like to incorporate all of those aspects to the class.
Yoga is many things to many people. To me, it was the first form of exercise that truly connected me to my body and made me aware of my weaknesses as well as my strengths. I am very well versed in anatomy and am continually upgrading my education in that field. Science and science based tools that are involved in exercise physiology is where I thrive. Chakras, Chanting, Ayurveda: although they are undeniably linked to the yogic practice, however, they are not incorporated in my classes.
I like to motivate, and I like to teach during my classes. The goal is to have you feeling stronger and energized, and hopefully you learn a bit more about yourself in the process.
