Leslie Bodner

Leslie Bodner became a fitness professional in 2010, after a substantial career in consulting and corporate recruiting. She jumped into the formats created by Les Mills International. These gave her a solid foundation of movement, coaching, and execution. She is certified in BodyPump, BodyCombat, GRIT, SPRINT, and Les Mills Core, CoreFirst, Cycle, TRX, and Silver Sneakers. She has taught these formats at clubs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Leslie is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, and offers 1-on-1 coaching virtually and in person.

Leslie applied this coaching methodology while working in boutique fitness, integrating strength and resistance training with high intensity interval training (HIIT). This experience in boutique fitness taught her how to structure a challenging fitness boot camp with plenty of regressions and progressions. She now offers Live-Stream and On Demand classes for clients locally, nationally, and internationally.
  
 
Leslie has experience working with all ages and physical abilities. She has trained individual teens as well as soccer and volleyball teams. She "packs the house" in Active Aging and Silver Sneakers classes. And she regularly coaches people through injuries, helping them stay as active as possible as they recover.
 
Leslie has trained for and completed numerous endurance events, including half and full marathons, a Spartan race, and Sharkfest - a swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco. She created and co-chaired a fundraising event (from 2011-2017) in conjunction with the Oakland Running Festival, leading a group of 275 runners from her children’s school in the 5K, Half Marathon, and Kids Fun Run, and raising nearly $100,000. Her passion is modeling a healthy lifestyle for and with her kids.

"I’ve been working out with Leslie since 2015. Since Covid, she started online Zoom workouts and I’ve had the privilege of doing them since 2020. I have had to build my home gym equipment a bit, but it is totally worth it. Leslie has been able to provide full fledged workouts. My favorite part about Leslie is that she pushes you in a good way and she really explains form to help ensure you stay safe and maximize.
