Zach Silver (RYT-200)
After many years of team sports and traditional strength training, I discovered yoga as a way to restore my body and mind. As I began practicing yoga more regularly, I became fascinated with the connection of mind and body achieved through dedicated yoga practice. My practice focuses on using yoga as a methodology to simultaneously improve physical and mental health. To do so, I draw upon both my training as a yoga instructor and my education in the field of psychology.
When teaching yoga, I synthesize a variety of styles and lineages to deliver an experience that builds strength, flexibility, and cardio; all while calming the mind and promoting a deep connection to nature and the world around us. In addition to teaching yoga, I also compose original music which I use an auditory backdrop for my classes. My music is designed to compliment a deep practice without distracting from the practice itself.
I believe yoga should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. I strive to design yoga classes that offer something for everyone - regardless of previous yoga experience. As such, I’ve worked with students ranging from complete beginners taking a yoga class for the first time to experienced yogis who have been practicing for years. I truly value the opportunity to meet and connect with my students, and I look forward to sharing my practice with you soon!
