My name is Larissa and I am passionate about fitness. I began playing soccer at the early age of 3. I became interested in gymnastics and track at 5. My school years always included one Varsity sport or two. I realized after college that not only is physical activity important for physical well being, but also for the mind. I organize my days better knowing I have that one hour for myself. My stress level decreases and my mental clarity allows me to focus better. Exercise in a community setting has additional benefits including but not limited to accountability, motivation, and making new friends!
One of my favorite formats to instruct is Zumba. I always encourage my clients to find a balance of different formats each week. Wellness to me includes three elements: mind, body, and spirit. For example; Balance and Strength, Yoga, Zumba. I am certified in numerous formats. Aside from Zumba, I instruct Mat Pilates, a Yoga Body Sculpt, Circuit, HIIT, Body sculpt with weights, and Spin.
