Rebecca has been practicing vinyasa for over a decade. In 2020, Rebecca obtained her 200 hour RYT through LifePower Yoga in Montvale, NJ. Through the process of her teacher training, Rebecca was introduced to Ashtanga yoga and has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga Mysore style ever since. As such, you can find a heavy influence of Ashtanga yoga in her teachings. This means there is a large emphasis on breath and its connection to movement, carefully curated sequencing, and preservation of the traditions of yoga. Rebecca especially enjoys teaching beginner level classes, as she believes that yoga can be adapted for every body. Rebecca is currently in the process of obtaining her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a result of her psychological education, Rebecca enjoys conveying the psychological benefits of yoga in her teaching as well. Rebecca emphasizes a comfortable and accepting environment to all who come into her class.
