Nancy Belmont promotes human flourishing by helping people see their special and unique value in the world; by creating ah-ha moments that increase awareness; and by building community around the human experience.
Nancy is a Kundalini yoga instructor (200RYT), Reiki healer, leadership coach, public artist, children’s book author, and identity expert. Her public art projects have spread virally around the globe, prompting tens of thousands of people to live with more courage, unity, and intention. Nancy has been featured in the The Washington Post, on the TODAY Show, on Al Jazeera Network, Upworthy, and Forbes. She was even tweeted by First Lady Michelle Obama.
Nancy earned her Certificate in Leadership Coaching at Georgetown in 2013 and puts that knowledge to use as the CEO of Vessence Corporation, her company that helps individuals, teams, and organizations find their essence and give it voice. Over the past 20 years, Nancy has worked with world-class organizations like The U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, United Way, The U.S. Army, The British Embassy’s British Council, and ExxonMobil, to articulate their identities and increase the capacity of their leaders.
Nancy became a 200hr certified Registered Yoga Teacher in 2021 and teaches at a local yoga studio in Alexandria, VA. She is certified in Reiki I and II and is currently studying to become a Reiki Master. In 2021, Nancy published the all-ages picture book, “Shine: A Story of the Light that Lives in All of Us.”
