I am a licensed social worker in New York State. I have been passionate about health, wellness and fitness my entire life, and first discovered yoga's healing benefits nearly 30 years ago. Ater decades of practice, I became a yoga instructor in 2012. I have run numerous road races, completing one full marathon and several half marathons. In addition, my husband and I are hiking enthusiasts, and have hiked many peaks in the Adirondack Mountains, Rocky Mountains, Utah and Hawaii.
I completed two 200 hour yoga certifications, and a 300 hour certication, making me a Yoga Alliance 500 hour certified teacher, ERYT500. I have completed over 2000 teaching hours. I am also a certified mindfulness meditation instructor.
I have completed additional training and certifications with BarreFlow, restorative yoga, Tiffany Cruikshank’s anatomy for yoga teachers course, MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), yoga nidra and yoga for veterans/trauma sensitive yoga. I also completed an Aerial Immersion Level 1.
