Karin Lanning

Hi! My name is Karin Lanning. My interest in wellness began in an effort to prevent a seventh surgery thirteen years ago. My passion for fitness initially blossomed into working as a Zumba© instructor but I later began to pursue other certifications: ACE Group Fitness, six Les Mills © programs, LiveStrong at the YMCA, YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program, SCW Personal Training and Yoga. My passions outside of work include running Spartan Races, animals, kayaking, and watching my boys pole vault. I strive to find the positives in life and to have fun while overcoming obstacles. 

My goal as a Certified ACE Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach is to help you identify, reach, and maintain your best self, through developing positive, lasting habits. Those goals may include fitness and nutrition adherence, prioritizing self-care, stress reduction, better sleep, smoking cessation, or any other health related concern. 

Recently becoming a 200hour Registered Yoga Teacher allows me to further assist my clients in mindful bodywork. I love learning new ways to encourage and challenge myself and our community.
