Golda Vallester

Golda graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 2016. She is currently working in the Intensive Care Unit and has been a member of her hospital's Nursing Wellness Champion Committee since 2019 and continues to promote wellness programs via yoga classes.

Golda first discovered yoga in 2011 and quickly fell in love with the practice. She completed her 200-hour teacher training with Pranalife Yoga in 2019. She quickly integrated her passion for yoga into healthcare utilizing her strengths in physical anatomy and connected mind and body experience together to create an 8-week program through mindful movement classes. She noticed healthcare workers often neglected their own health and function until they began to experience breakdown and/or pain. She noticed restrictions in body movements not only negatively affects our physical health but also our mental health as well. Furthermore, Golda has taught successful movement classes at the function clinic via online classes during 2021. With Golda's expertise in Intensive Care and nursing she can share the vast knowledge on anatomy and physiology all while teaching her passion for yoga and meditation.

Furthermore, Golda has a passion for HIIT and cardio. She is also certified to teach STRONG NATION and will continue to teach her passion for wellness and fitness in all walks of life. This format is an effective high intensity workout with Golda being a personal coach to hold students accountable with no equipment needed!

Outside of her practice, Golda is passionate about health and wellness in her own life. She has ran numerous races including a half marathon around the Sea Wall in British Columbia. She adores her husky-shepherd dog and loves to go on long walks, hikes, and runs together.
