Namaste, I am Lys. I began practicing yoga and meditation many years ago, however it was after a period of personal transition, I embarked on the journey of studying and teaching yoga. My main influences are Shiva Rea, Janet Stone and Jason Bowman. 

I became certified in 2015 in Amsterdam and Spain where I lived for 6 years.  I have taught internationally and domestically for the last 10 years. 

I teach many styles of yoga, including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin and Restorative, Pre and Post Natal Yoga. I am also certified in Reiki, Sound Bath and Aqua Body Strong - Aqua board fitness and ZUMBA. 

I am also the founder/creator of Flow State Yoga. A style of yoga aimed to get you moving with the flow of life and more importantly into YOUR personal flow. I’ve created this unique, ground-breaking practice to unearth the power within you. There is a reservoir of creativity, motivation and inspiration waiting to be unleashed when you are “in the flow” and I am confident you will feel the benefits if you remain open and curious. Focus areas include: yoga flows designed to improve self-esteem, inner power, intuition, communication, heart health, healing grief, strength, endurance, stamina, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness.

​For me, yoga is more than a set of postures (Asanas). Yoga connects us to our light within. Through this practice, we have the opportunity to meet ourselves and experience the joy of being. I see yoga as a healing practice both on a physical and spiritual level, which we can connect to any time, any place. It is my heartfelt desire to share my passion for yoga, meditation and wellness with you.
