Greetings, I'm Christina Abda, a 200 Hr. (soon to be 300 Hr.) Certified Yoga Instructor. Originally from Pennsylvania, I currently reside in the Sierra Mountains of Northern California with my soon to be husband and our pup, Dusty. We live full time in our 34ft,1997 Airstream that we renovated ourselves. We have spent several years traveling the United States in our Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro, prior to moving into the Airstream, and working for various Emergency Rooms around the country as we are an ER nurse and ER tech couple. This way of living, adventuring and learning has helped shape a huge part of who I am today. Three years ago, I wanted to take my own healing journey and others a little deeper. After practicing yoga for many years and diving further into nutrition I decided to become a 1) Nutrition Coach and 2) a yoga instructor. I truly feel and believe that there is more power and success in healing the mind and body outside of a hospital and ER. Taking this leap has lead me to someone amazing opportunities. Teaching and leading workshops in our local studio, instructing 60 minute vinyasa flows over Zoom with people from all over, working in person 1:1 to help deepen their practice and achieve their personal goals, teaching chair yoga and fitness to seniors 1:1 and in a group setting, and my favorite, creating my first website in hopes to help others from all over on how to be more mindful with their movement, diet and lifestyle. Helping others to learn what I have learned, and to further my education and practice all while doing it, is a tremendous gift. I believe we can all heal and experience the joy of food, our breath and movement.
All this to say, I am ready to take my teaching one step further by diving back into the world of travel to lead others from all over the world. I am ready to learn from them as well, and to maybe take classes myself. This can be an amazing chance to do something amazing for even just one person while they are traveling and healing.
