I discovered yoga when I was in high school at a Corepower studio down town Minneapolis. Since I was young I knew that the yoga community was onto something meaningful. I could tell by the way everyone moved with intention and strived to be in the moment. I was a young girl involved in the dance community, and being in the yoga studio felt like home. After college I began taking classes. It started with two days a week, but soon advanced to a daily practice. I realized early on that the people I admired were my yoga instructors, for their healthy physiques, to their calm demeanors, and open hearts. I wanted to be just like them.

My first job after my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training was with a small yoga studio in Blaine, MN called Heat Yoga.  It was a great fit, the heat made me happy, and the clients were there for hot style yoga. For me, yoga is about the balance between strength and flexibility, exertion, and releasing. So, my classes combine both strength and mobility work in a dynamic, Vinyasa Flow style. Expect to move, sweat, and breathe.
