Hi there! I was introduced to yoga while taking a for-credit college course in 2007.

Although I initially joined for the GPA boost and physical exercise, I continued to practice for the unexpected and much-needed mental and spiritual benefits. As a recovering perfectionist, yoga has developed into a beautiful way for me to become aware of the moment and deal with the stresses of life.

Wanting to help provide that same benefit to others, I earned my 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher certification in June 2013. I furthered her education in 2014 at Moksha Yoga Center in Chicago, with an intensive specifically focused on developing trauma-informed classes for those with PTSD or developmental and complex trauma.

In addition to my yoga training, I am also certified as a Level 1 Reiki practitioner.
