Angela Stephens

I studied Therapeutic Recreation at Clemson University. During Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom, I worked with injured active-duty soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan creating purposeful, yet fun activities - such as kayaking, biking, horseback riding and other community events to help them re-integrate back into the community. Each patient’s therapies were individualized to fit their needs and interests. After relocating for my husband's job, I started personal training to help men and women find an exercise program that felt individualized in the same way.  I have taught a variety of classes such as Bootcamp, Jillian Michael’s Body Shred, Shaun T’s Insanity, Cardio and Core, Upper Body Strength, and Les Mills Body Flow.  I currently teach Yoga, Glutes & Core, Pilates, and Barre classes. I love to encourage participants to push themselves out of their comfort zone - through hard work and attention to form, while taking modifications and breaks as they feel their body needs. My classes are challenging - and fun!
