After obtaining Registered and Licensed Dietitian status, I started my Masters Program of Health Education in University of Houston Main Campus to study how to assess, plan, implant, and evaluate fitness/wellness programs. While attending UH, I maintained dietetic contracts to provide nutritional in-services, classroom activities, and one-on-one consultations at the Center for Success and Independence, All Nursing Home Health Services, and Garden Oaks Adult Activity Center. I became a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am capable of interfusing a large spectrum of cross training programs to design a customized workout regimen with high-end results. As a Registered Dietitian, I am proficient in creating a personalized transitional dietary outline to meet estimated macronutrient needs to regenerate lean body mass (muscle cells) and improve weight management. I progressed from Fitness Intern to Graduate Assistance of Fitness when I became a Group Fitness Instructor certified by the American Council of Exercise. My daily job duties are managing student workers, scheduling, completing employee timesheets, and training new employees. I am responsible for thirty-three student workers including six personal trainers, twelve group fitness instructors, and sixteen fitness zone personnel. In addition, I monitor and schedule maintenance for exercise machines, design health promotions, teach cardio classes, as well as provide personal training for clients.
