Lauren Weingard

I am a certified fitness instructor with over 30 years of experience teaching a wide range of class formats. I currently teach at gyms in the Baltimore, Maryland area as well as and virtual classes for people all over the country. I am a former group fitness director with experience providing training and mentoring to new instructors. I also hold a graduate level college degree in the area of educational psychology. I love working with people of all ages and fitness has always been my passion.

I have been doing teaching trips for over 15 years! I have taught at resorts in Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. My most memorable trip took place in April of 2019 when I was scheduled to teach at Dreams Playa Mujeres. When I arrived, I was told that the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders were there filming their swimsuit catalog and I would have the opportunity to teach a stretching class to them. It was amazing!

I have also done a great deal of international travel on my own and with my family. When not teaching group fitness, I work as a school psychologist supporting the emotional, behavioral and educational needs of children.
