Emily Dalgo is a Seattle-based Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200). Since receiving her certification as a yoga instructor in November of 2020, she has been teaching private and group classes in person, online, and in hybrid formats. Specializing in a Hatha-based practice, she particularly enjoys teaching Vinyasa, Flow, Fitness, and Gentle Yoga classes to students at all levels in their yoga journey. She holds a continuing education (CE) credential in myofascial release following the National Academy of Sports Medicine's Corrective Exercise Continuum, a four-step process that Emily utilizes in her yoga classes to help her clients improve and correct movement compensations and imbalances. She has completed the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professionals and Responding to Emergencies First Aid trainings, so that she can provide a safe environment for her clients. Integrating her deep knowledge of anatomy, breathing practices, and meditation techniques, Emily leads calming yet stimulating practices for all levels. She is currently a PhD student in Seattle, Washington, studying Sociology, and teaches to the 40,000+ University of Washington campus community members through the recreation center in Seattle. Prior to moving to Seattle, Emily worked in Washington, DC as a health care policy professional where she focused in federal legislative and regulatory affairs. She is passionate about health, fitness, and inspiring others to find their inner yogi!
