For over 30 years, Sharon has been passionate about helping individuals with health and wellness choices that support their total and optimal sense of wellbeing. An accomplished vocalist with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance, Sharon is also a certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant, Herbalist, Reiki, and Stone Medicine Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, and Fitness Instructor specializing in Zumba and TRX. Along with sharing her voice as a coach, inspirational speaker, and fitness instructor, Sharon loves facilitating the growth process by supporting women to tap into their inner voice of wisdom and outer voice of authentic self-expression, joy, and strength. She has also served as a doula, midwife assistant and spiritual midwife, with hundreds of births attended, including over 120 in just one year.
Like many others, Sharon’s passions were born out of experiencing and witnessing suffering. Her journey in health and wellness began in a search to support her third child, Trey, who was born with a rare birth defect and then diagnosed with cancer at age 5. As options to support Trey’s comfort and longevity through mainstream Western healthcare became increasingly ineffective and limited, Sharon turned to a naturopath who opened her to the powerful and empowering world of ‘alternative’ health and wellness.
In 2015, Sharon became the owner of Nature’s Market Place in North Bend, WA, which was renamed Twin Peaks Nutrition and Wellness – The Community Hub of Health and Wholeness. A kingpin to the North Bend community, Twin Peaks enabled Sharon to establish Plume Apothecary, offer health and wellness guidance, herbs, supplements, gifts, energy healing, and fitness classes with her own flavor of innovative wisdom, powerful resourcefulness, and wit.
Today, Sharon has combined her decades of health and wellness experience with her deep love of helping women thrive through transformation to form Serenity Now Coaching. A featured speaker in the health and wellness community for women, Sharon shares from a real and honest place with a sense of humor that inspires hope and encourages those who hear her speak and sing to trust they will find their way.
When Sharon isn’t coaching, speaking or singing, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, hiking, reading, or developing Zumba routines and creating playlists that inspire and encourage her students as much as herself. Sharon is especially thankful for her nine children and the man she’s been married to since 1980. She is also a proud grandma. Her family is her greatest accomplishment, with each member acting as a profound teacher who has given her the encouragement to reach out and share her life experience.
