Sondra Wise

I am the most tenacious individual you may ever meet. That is the word that everyone can seem to agree on in terms of what describes me best. I learned to do things my way--just like the Frank Sinatra song; and because of this, I lived life quickly for a bit. I got to experience many things at a young age. 

I was born and raised in Northern New Jersey with a younger sister and young parents. We were a creative family involved in the music, dance and the arts. By the time I was 29--I had officially moved to 8 states. New Jersey, North Carolina, Georgia, Illinois, Utah, Missouri, Nebraska and now--California! California is ultimately where I had always hoped to be. 

I never originally planned on going to college- but I decided to the year after I finished high school at age 17. I initially started out in a community college studying to be a Spanish Intepretor. I then decided to shift gears when I moved-- I transferred to a different community college in Omaha, Nebraska before settling on Business Marketing. I then transferred a year later to University of Nebraska at Omaha-- where, 3 years later- I finished with my BSBA in Marketing. I was proud of that accomplishment--especially knowing how hard it was for me to get there. Even to get to college. 

Once I finished college I worked in Finance for a bit getting my Series 7 and 63, before transitioning to tech working for Square before they were publicly traded. I then parlayed out of tech into health. I had always loved fitness. Working out, being disciplined--is really what had saved me and had helped me come this far. To have a healthier mind. Seeing oneself improve and become stronger is always so satisfying. All of the sweat and hard work finally makes sense. I worked for a health company before pivoting again into public speaking/marketing/spokesmodel. There, I went to training at corporate headquarters; but I was hired as the talent to be the face of the brand who got to travel representing an international brand on the automotive circuit! 

During my time there, I also acquired my personal training certification, and become a certified barre instructor. Pilates and dance are really my passions. I love working with people in general--getting them to move and have fun. To feel accomplished and connected. Being that I love to travel and I speak conversational Spanish; it just seemed natural when I saw this opportunity --to apply!
