Joanne Avantaggio

Joanne (Joey) Avantaggio, a USPTR certified tennis professional, is available for group and private lessons. Joey grew up playing tennis in up-state New York. She played at the college level at Trinity College. Joey is currently a teaching pro at the CLC YMCA and the Boothbay YMCA. In 2006, she was ranked seventh in Maine and twentieth in New England. Joey’s lessons are high energy and a great work-out. In addition, Joey is ready to give you a total tennis program to improve your game, including cross training, mental toughness tips, tournament recommendations, match scheduling, and more. She can also fix your forehand!
