Danielle Froelich

Hello, my name is Danielle and I am an effervescent, passionate young professional in the food manufacturing and distribution industry, and well-networked teacher in the St. Louis yoga community. I decided to do my 200hr teacher training in the summer of 2019 after graduating college with a BS in Dietetics and minor in psychology. As a previous gymnast and competitive cheerleader (all-star and collegiate), yoga was a very natural fit for me post-grad. I tried a few classes here and there but didn't fall in love with it until I discovered TruFusion. It was then and there with the mentorship of seasoned instructors that I realized I was good at it, but had no idea what I was doing. I did my RYT with the intention to take my own practice to the next level and teach "someday." I absorbed the teachings and homework, and to this day continue to use online platforms to study teachers around the world. The sacred practice of mind, body and spirit unity completely transformed my life and I knew I had to share it with anyone and everyone I could. This desire ultimately overpowered the fear I had around being "good enough" to start teaching, so I started off slow teaching yin once a week, then a 75min ashtanga set sequence, mastering those styles (literally, I was being evaluated and critiqued by master instructors and corporate in Vegas) before taking on free flow-vinyasa and branching out on my own to avoid becoming stagnant in my own little community. There's plenty more to the story, but what I thought would be a part-time gig teaching turned into full-time job and center of focus until November of 2021 when I started putting my degree to use and working for Dierbergs Markets. I love yoga because there is a style and approach, modification or amplification to support any need or goal (fitness, restoration, injury prevention, mobility etc). While I can't do the mental/ physical work for my students, I can facilitate a space for them to be authentic, vulnerable and explore their natural intuition.
