    The moment I took my first POUND class I knew I found something beyond a workout, little did I know at the time what all I would gain from POUND. I have gained self-confidence, life-long friends, a place for me to deal with stress and anxiety, and I get to share this with others. Growing up I was your “band geek” and was never really into sports/fitness. In college I found myself at the gym and wondered who had I become. I discovered I loved working out and the release of endorphins. I found a new way of dealing of stress. Over time, I would get bored with gym workouts, take a break, and then start back up again. Then I discovered POUND. I never in my life imagined that I would be teaching a “fitness” class but Pound is much more than just fitness. It is therapy for your mind, body, and soul!
