Andy Orizotti

I grew up loving and playing all sports.  Track ended up being the one I excelled in the most and I received a full ride scholarship to the University of Montana to run.  I ran all 4 years (8 seasons) of track and did a coaching internship at the University as well.  After graduation, my husband and I had an opportunity to live in Italy while he played football overseas.  I found Pilates shortly after that in search of exercise to help my flexibility and balance my body after all of those years of running and lifting lfts.  After only doing Pilates for a couple month, I knew it was a lifelong practice for me and I decided to become an instructor.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and am a published writer and children's book author.  As I started getting into group fitness and personal training,  found it to be a perfect, flexible job while raising my children.  I practiced and taught Pilates throughout all 3 of my pregnancies.  I have been teaching, training and coaching for 20 years now and for over 10 years, I have owned my own small business Pilates Fusion Training.  I have taught classes and worked with clients in their homes, my home, community centers, health clubs, boutique fitness studios, and Pilates Studios.  My Pilates training is a fusion of my background in running, weight lifting, and personal training centered around those core principles of Stott Pilates.  Currently, I teach Pilates classes and Circuit classes that include a mix of strength, core and cardio.  Now that my children, ages 19, 17 & 12 are getting older, I have more flexibility to be able to do something like a teaching vacation.  I love working with and helping people.  It is truly the reason I got into this field.  If I make a difference in even one lfe, it is all worth it to me!  I love what I do, so it does not seem like work.  Empowering strength, helping clients find balance and joy through movement, working with youth clients and young athletes on injury prevention and core strength is what most of my days look like now.  I am married with 3 kids. We love to be outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, on the river on our kayaks and paddle boards and spend a lot of time watching and traveling around for sports.  I am a runner and multi-sport athlete. Traveling has long been one of my favorite things to do! I would absolutely love to combine two of my passions and travel and teach!
