Samantha first discovered yoga in 2015. Growing up, she spent many years taking dance classes and participating in dance teams. A few years after graduating from high school, she found that she greatly missed the mind-body connection that comes from rhythmic movement like dancing. So, she decided to give yoga a try. To her surprise, Samantha discovered that a consistent yoga practice is not only physically rewarding, but more importantly, allows for a deeper connection to yourself and is mentally/emotionally rewarding and healing, as well. Yoga has been a constant in her life ever since!
Samantha received her 200-hour RYT certification through Breathe for Change in 2018 in Madison, WI. She also got her 20-hour Trauma Sensitive Yoga certification through the Trauma Center in 2019. Most recently, she received her 100-hour Hot Yoga certification through Inner Fire Yoga in Madison, WI in 2021. She loves to continue to learn and grow through her own yoga practice and through sharing her love of yoga with others.
