Kalynn Frechette

Kalynn was introduced to yoga 10 years ago, but at that time she viewed it as more of workout than anything else. She never fully understood all of the benefits that could come from it until she found herself searching for a deeper understanding of herself, and more patience as a new parent.

After the birth of her first son in 2018, Kalynn started doing hot yoga regularly to lose weight and get back into shape. Along the way, she discovered that not only her weight was coming down, but that her anxiety was as well. Her mind was clearer and her overall mental health was getting better and better.

Over the last few years, Kalynn has found strength through yoga and meditations to confront and work on unresolved childhood issues. Yoga has helped her grow as a person and find her own self-love. This positive twist on her life also lead her to realizing that many things in her day-to-day no longer served her. She wanted to be more present as a parent, and teach others how to find balance through asanas, meditation, and self-awareness.

Yoga has become Kalynn's focus so much so that she closed the doors on a business that she had been running for nearly a decade, and decided to pursue her certification to teach yoga to others through Yoga’s Arc instead. Some of her areas of interest include yoga nidra, guided meditations, and yin yoga.
