Aileen Aurich

My name is Aileen Aurich. I am a Newyorican (Born in New York of Puerto Rican descent) that moved to LA for love in 2013. Before becoming a Zumba® Instructor in 2012 and Zumba® Jammer in 2016, I taught Salsa ON2 and Hip Hop/Electro Boogie for over 5 years creating my street dancing crew called the "Foxy Ladies" which performed in various parties and events in the mid-90s.  I choreograph songs for the ZIN community as part of a 3 hr. training as well as having my own Salsa Underground Groove which mixes Salsa Rhythm with Hip hop inspire steps. I also choreograph Weddings, Quinceañeras, and other private events. Most of my dancing background is from the streets of NYC and in clubs like Copacabana, Studio 54, The Tunnel, The World, and Roseland among others.   Once I joined Zumba® Fitness, I quickly acquired various Zumba certifications; Zumba Kids & Kids Jr., Zumba Steps, Zumba Toning, and Zumba Gold and later became a Certified AFAA Group Fitness Instructor.

 My love for dancing and inspiring people led me to Zumba. I am more than grateful and beyond happy to step into a studio and just let it all out. Dancing is a way of life, not a workout or a hobby. I love what I do and I am so blessed that my family here in LA is growing one song at a time. Hope to see you on the dance floor.
