Via Gibson

Via Gibson has 30 years of experience in the wellness, health and spa industry.  In addition to her current role as the Health and Wellness Director of Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, Via is a past Board Member of the Club Spa Fitness Association.  She has also enjoyed several collaborations with the Club Managers Association of America to educate upper level management on fitness, wellness and spa trends in the private club sector.

As a top industry leader, Via has consulted with numerous health centers and spas on staffing, enhancing revenues and facility remodel assessments.  Two of her larger projects included the esteemed PGA National Golf Club and Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.

In 2007, Via took Desert Highlands Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona from a typical gym into a true wellness center within her first two years of management.  She added spa services, holistic nutrition plans, golf functional fitness, corrective exercise for pain management, wellness workshops, ongoing employee health seminars, innovative fitness equipment selections and a five star customer service protocol required by her staff.

Via was asked in 2016 to bring her expertise to Desert Mountain Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. She increased revenues in the personal training and Pilates departments by over 60% in 2017.
