I was introduced to yoga over twenty years ago. Over the decades my practice has evolved, based on my improved understanding and desire for more of what yoga offers me – balance, strength, mindfulness, and restoration. I truly fell in love with yoga when I began running over a decade ago and needed the increased flexibility my yoga practice brought to my fitness routine. Over the years I have relied on yoga for the many health benefits it has provided my mind, body, and soul. It only took a pandemic for me to fully embrace the meditative qualities of yoga, finally finding a way to quiet my busy mind, ease my anxieties, and improve my health, establishing a daily yoga practice. I am so excited to have obtained my Yoga 200 RYT in 2022, and have been enjoying sharing mindful movement, teaching yoga basics, hatha, vinyasa, gentle, hot and restorative classes at studios, gyms, colleges and in private sessions. I look forward to continuing to guide others in their journey to quiet the noise, truly become present, and mindfully move toward or maintain the healthy habit of a consistent yoga practice.
