Jasmine Harris

Hello! My name is Jasmine. My yoga teaching style is focused on creating a small amounts of heat within the body with emphasis on deep relaxation.

I am a former dancer. I have study various forms of movement contributing to my understanding of of the spatial body. In college I volunteered with my universities counseling and psychological services as a peer educator. There i underwent a training to become a QPR suicide prevention gatekeeper. I also was gifted a newly researched yoga topic from yale university; A book that helped guide my research. I presented my research and findings on a panel pertaining to restorative yoga: race based stress and trauma.

A side from being a math major I also took courses in the department of dance such as Gyrokinesis.

I started out as a Pilates student then became a yogi in 2016 and became certified in 2020. I recently took a meditation workshop underneath a hypnotherapist!
