I (Danielle) have been practicing yoga on and off my mat for over a decade. Life began to happen and it flashed before my eyes. Do I really want to be in pain and limit myself? No, I thought to myself, so I decided to go back to the one thing I knew would cure me mentally, emotionally, and physically, yoga. Through yoga I physically lost 35lbs within the first consistent year of returning to my mat. I am able to move more freely. Emotionally, I am able to heal past traumas. Mentally, I have gained more clarity. With these 3 aspects aligning together I began to deepen the relationship with self. My teaching style will be a reflection of how I healed myself through discipline and hard work. When we are in pain most people give up, but it is the determination, discipline, and surrender that allow us to heal. Acceptance is the first measure to surrender. The rest is sure to follow by maintaining these practices in my daily life and instilling them in my students. Once we are consistent, ALL of life changes. I believe this to be apart of my purpose on this planet by helping those release the suffering of yesterday to return to the present where they vibrate so high they begin their journey with their higher self once again. In my spare time I practice yoga, meditate, hike/spend time in nature, watching sunrises on the beach, spending time with those of value, and becoming the best version of me I can create. I am also expanding myself with other opportunities.
