Marla Jenkins

Hello! My name is Marla Jenkins and I live in Kure Beach, NC.

I grew up in Durham, NC and moved to Wilmington, NC in 1990 to attend the University of NC Wilmington where I received my degree in Business Finance. I started my banking career in 1994 and then received my Real Estate Appraisal Certificate in 1999 in South Florida where I lived for 8 years.  I married my best friend in 1999 and had my first born son in 2004 and daughter in 2005. I moved back to NC in 2007 to be closed to family. I have been appraising real estate for over 20 years now. 
I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years and received my teachers certificate in 2020 and have been teaching 2+ classes per week for almost 2 years now. I am also a Reiki Master and have recently added a Restorative Reiki infused class to my schedule. I also am certified in Yin Yoga and have taken classes to learn about Ayurveda. 
I love to travel, spend time walking my dogs, hiking and enjoy watch my son compete in rock climbing and my daughter In volleyball, surfing and she is now a lifeguard at Kure Beach where we live. I plan to retire in 6 years from the banking industry and will then focus on yoga and healing others.
