For 37 years I was employed in the Financial Sector. During that time, I was a branch manager and was witness to how stress can affect not only my own mental/physical health, but also the well-being of my staff. I was able to bring fitness to the branch by bringing in equipment for the staff to use during breaks or before/after work. The staff loved it and I believe the were able to manage stress more effectively. This made me so aware of how fitness benefits individuals.
In 2006,I joined a local studio and fell in love with Yoga.
After retiring in 2018, I was able to focus on my fitness journey fulltime and began teaching Yoga.
I also completed a BARRE certification October 2020, but have not yet had an opportunity to instruct a class.
