Rita Lester CYT is a Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada   'Community Based' Yoga Teacher.

She has been practicing Yoga since 1994 and since 1998 started bringing 'RELAXATION YOGA SELF CARE PROGRAM to the local Community at large, Workplaces, Schools and to Healthcare Settings for Mental Health emphasizing the importance of a Daily Mindfulness and Movement Practice.

Relaxation Yoga is the Practice of Feeling Good!

Classes are Inclusive and Suitable for both Beginners and those with prior yoga experience.

Relaxation Yoga Incorporates Mindfulness, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Pilates and Somatic Movement.

Regular Practice may assist in preventing physical and mental injury & if already injured may prove to be in insightful and therapeutic.

Safety is Paramount. You are the Ultimate Authority as to what you do and don't do in the class and guided throughout the class to only do what is right for you.

Poses are done slower to understand the Purpose of the Movement/Posture, to ensure Safety and to access Biofeedback and increase Body/Mind Awareness, Proprioception and Neuromuscular Facilitation
