Eric Deroche

Eric was born in New Orleans, LA and attended Louisiana State University (LSU). After graduating college in 2007, Eric moved to Boston, MA to pursue a career in financial services. A multiple sport athlete, he's been a tennis player since age 6 and started coaching at age 17. Proud husband to Meghan and father of 4 children - Lucy, Eloise, Dottie, and Teddy, Eric currently resides in Covington, LA playing tennis and pickleball at Stone Creek Health Club.

Eric was a top junior player in US southern section as well as nationally. He played varsity tennis at LSU. Ranked 44 in country in doubles in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA);. Academic All-American and SEC honor roll.

Eric has taught tennis to all ages and levels; from public parks to country clubs. After moving back to Louisiana from Boston, Eric coached the girls tennis team at his high school alma mater. Based on ability and desire, he can tailor the session to basic fundamentals for the beginner or advanced situations for more seasoned players - with or without a cardio element.

Currently, Eric's day job is in financial services with Freegulliver LLC based in New Orleans, performing investment due diligence and management for individuals and family offices.

Started playing high level competitive pickleball in 2021.
