Patanjali asks us to step into the now. He speaks of waking up to the present and leaving those oscillations of the world around us so we can be quiet, listening and aware.  Many times we take the prakritri of the world (reality that we can see, touch and feel) and we think that is all there is around us.  We don’t realize that our mindset, the way we perceive those realities can make us relaxed and calm or nervous and stressed.  The choice is ours.

 

Practice of Yoga can increase one's ability to stay in the now and grounded through pranayama and asana.  I enjoy leading anyone down the path of yoga.  They will discover many things in and outside themselves.
