Whitney Garrah

Whitney began dancing at the age of two, which led her to discover her main passion in life—fitness. Throughout her dance career, Whitney competed in national and international competitions and is certified to teach tap, jazz, or ballet with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing.

 

Driven to challenge herself, Whitney taught fitness classes at Queen’s University and gyms in Kingston. She became the program coordinator for the Queen’s Executive Development Centre after graduating and helped develop a lifestyle program that coached executives on the benefits of improving their health through fitness.

 

Whitney continuously expands her knowledge base and is certified with the ISSA as a Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach. She is also a Level 1 certified Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST) and offers customized stretch sessions to alleviate pain or restricted movement. Additionally, Whitney studied under Margot McKinnon at Body Harmonics Pilates to learn the benefits of reformer training.

 

As the director of Transformation Training, Whitney offers private and semi-private personal training sessions for all levels of fitness or physiotherapy clients. Her personal training includes boxing, reformer Pilates, TRX training, kettlebell training, steel mace training, assisted stretching, and fat loss training.
