As an avid runner after college, I found myself experiencing injury after injury. I became frustrated my body! With encouragement from my husband and physical therapists, I started to incorporate strength training and yoga in to my fitness routine. I quickly understood the importance of a well balanced workout routine. I was a stronger and faster runner than ever before. Through this experience, I learned that there are so many different styles of working out and it is not a one size fits all type of thing.  

During this time, I was unhappy in my career and decided that it was time for a change. I knew that I wanted to spend my time helping others create fitness programs that would fit into their lifestyles. I completed my ACE Personal Training Certification in 2013 and my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2014. I worked in Dallas as an in-home personal training and yoga teacher at several different studios. 

I took a break from personal training after having two sweet little boys! They are now 3 and 6 and keep me quite entertained! I still enjoy teaching private yoga classes and working with private clients. 

I am looking forward to combining my love of fitness and travel and helping travelers to feel their best while on vacation!
