Nancy Fisher

Nancy teaches Hatha Yoga Level 1 and 2, Yoga for Strong Bones, Yoga for Runners, Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga and Yoga for Osteoporosis. She  currently teaches at a fitness center in North Carolina. She is Yoga Alliance certified  (500 RYT) and insured. 

A retired scientist and professor, Nancy takes a scientific approach to the anatomy and physiology of the yoga asanas. Safety and inclusivity are of prime importance. 

Nancy's approach to yoga is to welcome all bodies, all ages and all spirits. Her practice is both energizing and relaxing. In a classroom setting, she is able to teach to multiple levels, offering modifications for different body types. She is versed in the Chakras and Bandhas, offering special classes in those areas if requested. She also is a certified teacher of Yoga for Osteoporosis.
